Jury Supervisor

As a result of the pending conferral of a greater corporate criminal jurisdiction on the Court, a number of new positions have been created to support its implementation, including the Jury Supervisor. This position will play a key role in supporting the Senior National Judicial Registrar – Federal Criminal Jurisdiction to implement and manage the Court’s expanded corporate crime jurisdiction. In particular, the Jury Supervisor will be responsible for managing all the elements of the jury during a jury trial.

Demonstrated experience and ability in providing administrative support services to Sheriffs or similar officers.*

Demonstrated experience and ability in leading a team.*

Demonstrated knowledge of criminal procedures, or the ability to acquire such knowledge quickly. *

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to work under pressure with limited direction.*

Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders effectively and build and maintain positive professional relationships. Be able to exercise tact and discretion and maintain confidentiality.*

Demonstrated proficiency with technology and the ability to learn and use the court’s jury panel recruitment system, case management systems and court room technology.*
